What is Koh Adang Ravi?

Koh Adang is Adang island, and Koh Rawi is Rawi island as well. So "Kho Adang-Ravi" means Adang island and Ravi island. The two islands are near together and look like twin islands. So people always call it "Adang-Rawi."

Adang-Ravi island is located on the Southwest of Tarutao island and far from "Pakbara Pier" about 40 kilometers or away from Satun province about 60 kilometers. And the size of the island is 30 square kilometers.

The word "Adang" means prawn. Because there are so many prawns around this Island, the people called it Adang island.
Around Adang and Ravi islands will be surrounded by a very white sandy beach and clear water, under the water will be full with marine life and a long range of coral reefs. The island has a nature green safari with a thousand kinds of birds. There is a waterfall with very nice and clear water for all the years.

On the island, "Chado cliff" is the point where the pirate observes the trade boat from Malaysia to Thailand before starting to attack the boats. Nowadays, Chado cliff comes to be a nice point to see the wild piece of water from Thailand to Malaysia and great to see both sunrise and sunset. It has become a must see point of the island.

Adang-Ravi islands are the two of the island groups (Lipe island, Hin-Gham island, Yang island, Dong island, Double Rock island and Jabang island) that  stay in the same area (just 10 minutes by speed boat from one island to the other one.) This is a great occasion for the people to see all of them if they are having the holiday on those islands.
